I spent 3 nights in September 2008. the personal at the concierge was extremely helpful and helped me to find a shop open on Sunday night as the airline lost my luggage.

On first night I also used room service which was good and fast!

The room was clean and spacious, I was there for work so got out early and in late, but I always found it impeccable.


Would definitely go back, worth the money.

This place has gone straight down hill. It is now a plain old Marriott. Too bad. Now the place to stay is in Ballantyne at the Resort!

The place is convenient, beautiful, and the service is choice. Be careful with some of the rooms. Mold. They will take care to find you an other room, however, this is a real problem and if you are sensitive, have children, or have a health problem, be sure to survey your room, as with any hotel, and be sure that the moisture is contained - even in the bathrooms.

The bellstaff at this hotel blew me away! They were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Overall I thought everything about the hotel was wonderful!!

My husband and I recently stayed two nights at this hotel and although it is beautiful from the outside and close to shopping, we found the rooms to be just average. They were a little stingy with the towels and we had to ask to have our room made up (even though we had been out from 9:00am until 3:30pm). The rooms are old and need some sprucing ...

The hotel is way past its heyday and falling apart. I understand that another brand is coming in but it will never be the Park of old as the Marriott will certainly make it like all its others....bland

The Ballantyne Resort and Spa is now the place to stay....and I will be there! It by far the best hotel in Charlotte.

A great luxury hotel in a perfect location for privacy and local shopping. Great room service, comfortable beds and close in parking. Everybody loves this place.

My wife and I spent a Saturday night "getaway" at the Park Hotel and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is well maintained, the staff were courteous and attentive, and despite the presence of several large groups it was very quite. The location is very close to SouthPark mall and shops, but still feels very separate and isolated. Highly recommended!

Everything is wonderful at this hotel. Dining, business, location, shopping, and bar all things were upscale. I have stayed nearly all hotels in north Carolina, and I think this hotel is #1 in the state.
