Run away! This inn's website is nothing but a pack of lies! Any positive comments you read here or anywhere else are probably written by management! The rooms smell bad, the place hasn't been renovated in years, no matter what they say, and the staff is rude and/or uncaring!

Was leary about a non-chain hotel but it turned out to be quiet, clean, and comfortable. A restaurant in the same bldg is a plus.

We reserved a room for 3 days. When we checked in, we noticed badly peeling paint in the room, and toilet that barely flushed. We were willing to overlook these things. Manteo is a great town. It is a shame that this place tarnishes an adorable town. No restraunt attached, as advertised. WE had no hot water, no one cleaned our room even after speaking with the manager, no fresh towels brought. I stayed with my 12 and 13 year old daughters for a nice get away. Dont stay here, its terrible.
