What a terrific surprise!I was looking for a decent hotel that didn't cost a fortune and saw favorable online reviews of the Hampton Inn, but was suspicious of the low price. I took a chance, and what a terrific surprise! There is nothing I did not like. Perfect!!In NYC it's hard to find a nice hotel for a reasonable price, but the Hampton Inn proves that wrong! We arrived early but the bellman held our luggage until checkout time. At the front desk we were able to get restauraunt suggestions and able to cash in travelers checks. In the lobbey they served hot coffee, hot chocolate, tea,cookies, and ...3 of 3 Yahoo! I loved it!!I wanted to tell how much I enjoyed staying at the Hampton inn North. Our rooms were roomy, and the bathroom was very lit up. The beds were comfortable and big enough to stretch out in. I would stay here again anytime I visit new york city. Thanks for your accomodations Hampton Inn!OVERALLService

Great experienceWe stayed at the Hampton inn on 8th Street and had an absolutely great time. The hotel was recently renovated and so everything is clean, modern, and accessible. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The beds were so comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect. Definitely the perfect place for theater enthusiasts.2 of 2 Yahoo! GreatGreat for the price. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good size for NYC. The location was great, walking distance to everything and yet not in the middle of it all. offensive odorThe bath room had a very strong odor of urine, which made me feel uneasy. The room appeared clean, however with the bathroom right there we had to keep the bathroom door closed so we would not have to smell the odorOVERALL

Good alround ServiceVery Clean,Great location and helpful staff.
Just got back from a week in the Big Apple and have nothing bad to say about this Hotel.If we ever go back to New York we will be sure to say here.Breakfasts are excellent and coffee served 24/7

Great Hotel for a very reasonable priceRenovated in 2005, this hotel is great, well located, large TV screen, good bed, free wi-fi & internet access in the room.

Close to Time SquareGreat location. A short walk to many attractions. We stayed in renovated rooms which were very clean, nicely decorated, large and comfortable. The lobby was a mess due to renovation. The afternoon we checked in, we asked for assistance from the conceirge to get Broadway tickets and found her very arrogant and rude.
