This was the worst hotel experience of my life and I'm 60 years old. The place is filthy. I was afraid to turn out the lights for fear of what may crawl out from the draperies. The place needs renovations bad. The service was pretty good. But, the hotel overall just felt dirty. The heat wouldnt turn off so it was hard to sleep. And the bed was like sleeping on the floor. Wouldnt stay there again.

The staff was excellent, the rooms were very spacious and very very clean. The location was a bit away from the action, but it just made us see more of Manhattan that is beautiful. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Even though this hotel has outdated decor, the location is great and the service is perfect. You are within walking distance to central park, fifth avenue, park avenue, etc. The hotel restaurant is pricey, but the food is great and the view is spectacular.
