Given the area, I think that the Ramada in East Orange has become a very elegant place to stay. I think that there have been major improvements and I love it.

When I was in Manhattan, I called the 1-800 for Ramada Hotels expecting to stay at a clean, comfortable, and safe establishment, boy was I wrong. The elevators were unsafe (although I still used them), the laundry room was on the other side of the elevator rear door, which made for a very unsightly view when the rear door opened.
Don't expect any hot water if the hotel is full. My suggestion if you stay there is to shower at night.
