We had visited the Inn two years ago. The Bilgers did a wonderful job fixing up Whitneys. I can't wait until the winter to go sking right next door at Black Mountain.

The beds are excellant and the food plentiful and delicious.

Susan was a great help in getting us resvervations for dinner and helping us decide what activities to do during the day!

Everything looks brand new . . . fresh paint, new furniture, and new fixtures in all of the rooms. Even the Shovel Handle looks spruced up.

Breakfast was excellent! The owner is cooking breakfast and even came out to chat with us during breakfast. How nice!

We spent a night here at the end of 2007. We learned that the place is under new management and we definitely could tell. The place is freshly painted and all of the furniture is new. They were still working on the place while we were there, but what had been completed looked great!

We had an excellent dinner in the dinning room. The wait staff was friendly and very nice. The new manager even stopped by to see how our meal was going.

We just spent a great romantic weekend for our 34th anniversary. My husband and I couldn't have been happier.
Great food and entertainment was had at the pub.

Can't wait to go back!

WE WERE A PARTY OF SIX PAYING A RETURN VISIT AFTER FIVE YEARS. THE HOTEL UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE MORE WELCOME. WE HAD A WONDERFULTIME, THE FOOD, SERVICE CLEANLINESS OF THE SUITES COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. THE WHOLE AREA IS LOVELY AND HAS MUCH TO OFFER. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
