Spent a week here .. roomed in the 400s building. Yep, it's not a brand new building, but the rooms were clean, the parking was close and the staff were helpful and accommodating. I was reluctant because there were so many poor reviews, but I was not disappointed at all. Would stay here again without hesitation. Definitely worth the money.
This was always a mediocre hotel that was bearable because it really is a unique building and property. If one can overlook lhe little things, then you can enjoy the nice aesthetics of the place.
I work for an airline, one of a few that have pulled out our overnighting crews. The place is in decline.. the rooms stink and are musty. The heater ...
The 2 people we met at the front desk were very polite and nice. The minute we walked in, the hotel smelled like a farm. Our room was a little better but not much as far as smell. There were very limited vending machines and the ice machine near our room was broke so we had to walk forever to find one. We did get a map which was good and well ...

The low point of our wedding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/07
Our wedding took place at the Wayfarer Inn in mid-May. We stayed in one of their bridal suites for two nights, and family stayed in two average-sized rooms for three nights.
There was no hot water in our guests' rooms on the morning of our wedding -- they ended up showering in our bridal suite! Every employee and manager we talked to had a ...

The Room of Horror!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/15/07
The "quality" in this Quality Inn was lacking. The first bad impression we encountered was when we had to call four times before we were able to talk to a live person to make a room reservation. Although we left messages each time we telephoned, our calls were never returned. There is no parking close to the facility entrance. ...
I am a flight attenant, and the company actually pays for our room, so the price was just right! I had 3 bags, and after I mazed my way to the room, WALKING up 3 flights of stiars, found the room to be clean and comfortable. My TV was acting up, and the front desk changed it ASAP.
But then, at 0700, housekeeping comes around, knocking again ...

Almost a great experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/06
This hotel has a lot going for it, but doesn't quite make it. Falls into the it was OK category. Interesting layout, parts of the grounds very pretty. Indoor pool small but nice. “Quackers” resturant decent for casual hotel dining. Staff were pleasant. Lots of little things not quite up to par. No towels at pool. No soap either day in men’s ...

Don't make a reservation if you want any sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/06
The Wayfarer Inn is located in a pleasant location. Unfortunately, the staff was really lame at controlling the noise level of the occupants. The people next door had their TV cranked up at 4:00 in the morning. When we asked the front desk to handle the situation, the person said
"we can't do anything because the words ...

Stinker.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/06
This hotel was a beautiful place to visit until new management took over in 2003. Not only did major renovations take place that did not do the hotel justice but all the faces that were once familiar to frequent guests, from what I was told, had been let go or resigned. The last time I stayed there, the service was horrible, the room was pathetic ...
