As an owner I have been very miss treated, by Managment Denise Maggio whom I have tried for 32 days to take care of a past maintance fee which was not reported to me, the co-owner as being owed. My check was in her hands for 32 days and never deposited. This makes me think maybe they really don't need our money. It also makes me realize this is not a place I want to do business with. We stayed in a studio room in a seperate building behind the main inn. The room was huge with a gas fireplace, washer/dryer, juccuzzi tub, full kitchen, and a deck that overlooked the mountains. The pool was very clean, and the service was exceptional. You can check-out board games in the lobby. The location of the inn (right on Main Street among many specilty stores) can't be beat!

I have been here 3 times in the past 2 years and had a fabulous time the first 2. The third was shocking. There were ants in the room and some brown substance on the shower stall wall. This is a beautiful old hotel with the charm of being right on the Main St in a hopping winter wonderful. In the winter you can walk to several restaurants, ice skating, a movie theatre, charming shops and a even a train.
The building is attractive with several out buildings renovated into rooms. They have a very large pool with a hot tub for a dozen.
7 Ski areas within a 40 minute radius. Lots of opportunities for outdoor fun in the area.
