My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel for our honeymoon we got the romance package and it was good. They offer wine and chocolates... the wine is cheap... but the chocolates are GREAT! When you go, should you go... check the rooms temperature... ours was very hot and they told us they turned the A/C off for the winter... it was easily 80+ degrees ...
Wait until this place has actually remodeled if you are expecting the Conde Nast treatment. If you want a quaint, nice, boutique hotel, until this place has been completely remodeled, I would book a room at the Hotel Phillips. Other than the location, there is nothing great about this hotel. I take that back. They serve yummy warm chocolate ...
My company booked and paid for a three night stay at the Raphael. The front desk needed my credit card only for incidentals. When I checked out, there were no charges.
To my great surprise, when I received my credit card bill I was charged for the room. Not just for the three nights I was there (which my company paid for) but for FIVE nights. ...
This Hotel was like a dream come true. The staff were most helpful and curteous of any I have even encountered. Rooms were marvelously large and well appointed. The little special touches like the monogrammed Towels were a wonder. Bathrobes were luxurious, soft and toasty. We got the Romance package were presently surprised by all the detail. Our ...
poor conditions overall. they are going thru and extensive remodel they told us in january , but i have to say this is at best 2 star place. if you are used to 4 star properties and have discerning taste do nto stay here you will be very disappointed.
Cozy upscale, quaint & sophisticated restaurant with excellent service, excellent food surrounded by the beautiful Country Club Plaza. I will return again and again.
The service was great, the view of the Plaza was incredible. Easy to find and access, walking distance to The Plaza..two blocks. The rooms are clean and come with very comfortable robes.
Located adjacent to the Country Club Plaza, the Raphael is THE romantic hotel location in KC. Shop till you drop at trendy up scale stores and unique boutiques, dine at truly great resturants, linger over coffee at clubs. Then retire for a night of romance looking out over the light of the country's first shopping area.
The ambiance is wonderful. The view of the Country Club Plaza and the "feel" of the hotel are great. The Plaza is one of the best kept secrets of the world.
