Booked this hotel via phone and was told we would have a room on the lake. Arrived prior to check in and our room was not ready so we came back later after swimming/boating with friends and was given a room in the main building not overlooking the lake. Said they would take 10% off our bill and to go up and check out our room. Ready for a shower ...
We stayed in their condos and when booked, we were told the 3 bedroom condo was a 2 bedroom price since the square footage was less than the other 3 bedroom condos. They neglected to tell us that the third bedroom was a renovated deck that slanted and access was through the second bedroom! The maids didn't arrive until 4p.m. to "make the ...
I wanted a nice place to swim, go the the marina and rent a sea do and have a nice dinner. I love the spa too. It's close to the night life and shopping. It does have a 1960s thing going on and all the help i noticed were from Jamaca. When I called the front desk for something they never answered. It had what I wanted but if youre looking for a stylish place with good service you wont like it.
We were looking for a nice place to stay at within a day's drive from Chicago. We have friends that have a place at Lake of the Ozarks and we wanted to visit the area. They told us about The Lodge of Four Seasons and we gave it a try. The Lodge has three golf coures and a great spa. Since it usually warmer than Chicago, we were able to play ...
stayed there twice same probley with snotty staff. Had bad 60's flashbacks when you walk around. Room could of been cleaner and bathroom was filthy even after cleaning staff was there. Location was OK but felt like i had to drive forever to get to anything
I am sure the hotel was updated as far as the rooms are concerned since i was there last time approx. 7 years ago. The room we had was beautiful room 6426, however if we were a little farther down the hall closer to the lake the view would have been better, but ours was ok. The room we were in i have to admit there was quite a bit of noise going on ...
Desk people were unhelpful and snotty. Checked in at 11:00 the room wasn't ready until after 4PM. The room we were assigned had a man lying across the bed so we had to get a different room. Our entire day was spent waiting to have a room cleaned so we could relax and to change clothes so the kids could swim and have a good time.
The resort had an "Addiction" conference going on the same time as my visit to the spa. Smokers and addicts everywhere. The resort was probably last decorated in the 50s - no niceties whatsoever. The spa is much newer, but unfortuneately that meant that the personnel was not experienced in dealing with the pampering I expected.
