Very clean, close to Madison St and the Capitol. Restaurant was good. Had difficulties with free wireless but the staff loaned me a landline and everything was fine. Very comfy beds!

First, the desk person seemed overwhelmed with checking in a person and answering the phone. While under renovation and improvements have obviously been made, there are parts of the hotel where the ceiling has fallen down. The television worked but was about 20 years old. I took a chance and stayed at this hotel for business. They are undergoing renovations at the present tiime. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The new ownership is making dramatic changes and it shows. New exercise equipment, and friendly staff. Location is excellent and I am glad the hotel is going to be restored. This is a landmark.
