My bed smelled like a wet dog . The bathroom was dirty. The room was dirty everything was dirty.

I don't know where to start. This place has not been updated or cleaned in 40 years. The beds are like a rock. The tv's are from the 70's. The sheets and bedspreads are dirty. The restaurant and pub are not even open. It looks like a dark haunted house. The pool had no water in it. The whole place is musty. I would not consider staying at the Cheshire Lodge again if it were FREE!

We stayed only one night. The Old English theme lived up to expectations. The only positive thing was the shuttle to and from the Cardinals game.
Negatives: Very thin old sheets, very thin old towels and really thin walls. And the other reviewer is correct in that you can't close the bathroom door unless you do it before you sit down.

We had such a wonderful time at the Cheshire Lounge. The decor was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. We'll be going back soon.
