We had the best time. This was the first B & B, for my husband and I. Nell and Betty were wonderful! The breakfast was incredible! The grounds are breathtaking! We stayed in the Laura room. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I loved everything about The Burn! The gardens were breathtaking and the self standing staircase beautiful. The owners were charminga and friendly. I would most definitely return.

RAN OUT OF HOT WATER,TOILET RAN, YOU HAD TO JIGGLE THE HANDLE TO MAKE IT STOP, NOISY IN THE MORNING, ROOM VERY SMALL, T V VERY SMALL, THIS WAS MORE LIKE A HOTEL NOT LIKE THE B AND B'S THAT I HAVE STAYED IN. FOR THE PRICE WE PAID I DON'T THINK IT WAS WORTH IT AT ALL. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I was expecting more, the breakfast was cold and the biscuits appeared to be purchased at Sam's. This was during Spring Pilgrimage of 2005 and the place was crowded and our hostess talked too long, causing us to have to rush to see the houses on the morning tour. A definite plus though, our beds were clean and comfortable.

If you want to experience the splendor of the Old South and stay in an antebellum mansion you need to stay at The Burn. It doesn't have a commercial feel like most of the other B & B's. My friend and her husband and myself and my husband took a trip to Natchez this past weekend and stayed at the Burn. What a wonderful experience. The place was just wonderful. The grounds were one of my favorite. The hospitality was remarkable, we were very pleased with our room also, the Laura. This is a wonderful place to stay!
