The St. Paul has a wonderful reputation but the service we got there was poor. We stayed 2 nights and another customers baggage delivered to our room and later were locked out of our room when she checked out. I stepped on a shirt pin in the carpet. In their favor, they offered us a free nights stay in the next year. After our experience there, we chose not to use it. The one thing we liked was the proximity to St. Paul nightlife.
Elegant without being ostentatious, the St. Paul is a local landmark and the finest hotel in St. Paul.
