We recently stayed, I won't recommned any one, i have a horrible experience, My card was charged for some other's stay. Just two words advice. Stay away.

very old hotel.Elevators were very slow with a hotel full of people ,then they only had one elevator working so we had to wait 20 min before it came every time .very short staffed with breakfast always running out with just scrambled eggs and sausage and muffins.The rooms were very old and not clean, we smelled urine all night ,tub was stained dirty and upon entering our room the carpets were not vacumed.Would not stay here again.

We recently stayed at the hotel for the weekend it was very busy in the hotel but the staff remained nice and helpfull. we had gone up tp south haven for the day but then returned to st joe later in the day. it was a nice suprise that there lounge was open untill 2am. the staff in the bar was friendly and very entertaining. coming from chicago ...

The hotel rooms were very dirty and dingy, the bar/lounge was incredibly smokey, causing the lobby of the hotel to be filled with loud music and smoke. The owner was a complete idiot and has no business running a hotel- the hotel owner had terrible customer service skills and spoke very rough English, which made it even harder to express to him ...

We just came home from our first stay at this hotel. The convenience of being downtown was great -- our van never left the parking lot. The staff was friendly and most areas were clean. However, we will probably not stay here again, and definitely not on a festival weekend, because of the bar off the lobby and the patrons that frequent it. ...

Very surprised after reading previous reviews...I first thought, "what did we get ourselves into?" However, upon arrival - I was happy to see the hotel was modern, the employees were professional, our room was clean & updated and had the amenities of a typically nice hotel, location great! I would definitely book again for another nice stay by Silver Beach!!

You would think that walking in the lobby of this place that the rest of the hotel would be clean and elegant...it looks like they spent all of their money on the lobby & none of it on the rooms. I have never complained about anything online before but feel that this hotel deserved a "first." The lobby is indeed lovely and Silver the lobby parrot is fun, but begining with the elevator, the fun ends. I realize that the elevator stops on the 2nd floor every trip (up or down) even if there is no one waiting for it. The sign outside ...
