We stayed here in August of 2009. Our suite was very clean and very large. There were 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the den as well as a large desk. Front desk was very rude when I called to ask about government rate, they referred me to the internet to make my reservation. Checked in at 3 pm on Sat. was unable able to get key card to open door on my second floor room after lugging my luggage up the stairs. The hotel overbooked and lost the reservations my 80 year old mother had made for us nearly 2 months earlier. We had flown in from Denver and had spent the day traveling to the location of the hotel. We were given a suite at the same price (as an apology for their overbooking) for the night and asked to sign an agreement to leave and find another ...

we were there for a softball tourney. the room was great, the service was awesome. could not ask for anything more. clean rooms great service.

Just stayed two nights and found the staff at the desk and clubhouse very friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and the FULL breakfast was wonderful. Location is perfect with easy access to town or the interstate. Won't stay anywhere else and can't imagine anyone having a bad stay here.

Since the year 1999, I was introduced to the Best Western Richmond Suites Hotel. My family and I always have since that date and always will stay there when in the Lake Charles area. I want to say a special thanks to Nancy who did everything to cater to my needs. I recommend this hotel highly to families who like Bar B Cue, Swimming, Basketball,nite caps and good food.

Staff was disinterested, security gate was never closed and bathtub was horribly dirty. Cost of the room was comparable to 4 star casino accomadations after I was overcharged by $34. Corporate 'Customer Service' unable to even discuss accounting issue and no reponse from attempts at direct communication. I discourage anyone staying there.

I STAYED HERE A WEEK.(NOT BY CHOICE!) THE STAFF ARE NOT VERY HELPFUL. THEY ACTED DISINTERESTED MOST OF THE TIME. THE ROOMS ARE LOCATED IN FOUR DISCONNECTED BUILDING. YOU HAVE TO WALK OUTSIDE TO GET TO THE FRONT DESK AND THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. THE BREAKFAST HAD A VERY LIMITED MENU. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN IT. THE COFFEE WAS TOO STRONG AND THE ORANGE JUICE WAS MOSTLY WATER.

Our room was big, 2 queens and a pull out sofa, it had a kitchen and was very clean. The staff was friendly and when I called back and told them that we had left a bag behind, it was sent to me in just a few days. Everything was in the bag just as we left it. The full breakfast was great. The price was also reasonable for the room size and the great service.
We will always try and stay here when we are in Lake Charles.
