This hotel while a little south of the main downtown area, offers the best deal in Louisville. The pool was great, and the food and service a pleasant surprise in the hotel's restaurant. The shuttle van driver took us to the area's restaurant row on our second night, and had some good recommendations for us. Our room was a little dated, but clean as a whistle. The staff here are so nice. We'll definitely be back.
Everyone was so friendly. the driver's were exceptional...and the restaurant people were great! The pool could have been a little warmer, but, overall, highly recommended for the price.

The main reason we chose this hotel was because my young son wanted to go swimming, in the morning when he was all excited we came downstairs to a closed pool after assurances the night before that it would be possible for him to swim the next day. From the ouside parking lot to the lobby, I thought this hotel looked great. Once I got on the elevator I began to notice that it was outdated. Once I got to my room I realized this place hasn't been updated in 20 years. I felt like I was in some 1980 motel. There was hair everywhere and the shower did not drain properly. I will never stay here again. Very disappointing Holiday Inn.
This property is now undergoing a total renovation. Also now under new ownership. Food is very good as well as a friendly staff. New Lounge and dining rooms now under renovation also. I enjoyed the visit very much
