This hotel has been under construction for quite some time - but the result is well worth it. Fully remodeled rooms, large screen TVs, and a Waterpark are all included in the price. Very good hotel for the price.
Not a great Business hotel as there are kids running up and down the hallways on their way to the waterpark. Room 267 is particulary ...
We stayed here for a couple of nights and the rooms where ok. They did have 2 entrances to the room which made it nice for loading and unloading the car. The bad thing was the carpet was constantly damp around the outside door. The swiming area was nice and clean. The restraunt was nice but a little pricey. Our overall all stay was good. We would go back if we was in the area.
WE STAYED IN THE RAMADA INN , DES MOINES, IA 2 NIGHTS. WE PAID MIN RATE AND IT WAS GREAT. THE LAST MOTEL WE STAYED IN FOR THIS PRICE WAS NOT FIT FOR HUMAN NOR MY PET. THIS MOTEL ALLOWED PETS AND WAS VERY CLEAN, SMELLED NICE. WE FELT A GREAT VALUE. THANKS FOR KEEPING IT CHEAP AND NICE. WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN AS WE PASS THROUGH ON OUR BUSINESS TRIPS.
The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. However, there are a lot of rooms that catch the noise from the indoor pool and ours was right by the conference rooms and they played music constantly (even at 2:30AM)and it was just like having a radio on it your room that you couldn't turn off. Run down hotel - phone rates = robbery

Hotel is the most run down Holiday Inn I have ever seen. Carpet is extremely worn and comming up in big ridges off the floor throughout the hotel. Pool plaster is flaking in big chunks and falling to the bottom of pool while deck pebbles are decayed and stick to bottom of feet again coming off in pool and ending on bottom which hurt feet to walk. ...
