The facility is classy and elegant, without being pretentious. The service is first class, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff actually cares about you. Location couldn't be better; right near the river and a block from Michigan Ave.

My husband and I went to celebrate our one year anniversary. We are in the President's club (which is free) and got a romantic weekend package. Included in the very reasonably priced package was a corner room very high up with a king sized bed. We got a kama sutra kit delivered to us at turn down. You got your choice of free overnight parking or free breakfast in bed. The service was excellent and we will go back soon.

The view was splendid. We had a marvolos room and the service was unbelivable .
The housekeeper was very plesant and helpful .The bad very comf.and the view!? took my breath away .
We saw the fireworks at Navy Pier from the comfort of our room ,we had a wonderful and plasant lady to turn down our bed and room service at an amazing speed .A good service and good people.

I loved this hotel, it had a beautiful view and the room was gorgeous. It looked like something out of a movie and we didn't want to leave!

What a fantastic place to stay. Clean, luxurios, great staff.

I had to put together a last minute Sales Meeting for an ever growing and shrinking list of people. The rooms were very comfy with gorgeous views of the lake and Navy Pier. Everyone walked away happier with this hotel than in years past in different cities. The staff and management were wonderful to work with. I look forward to next year.

Very accessible location but that was about all. Checked in to find trash in the wastebasket, a window that would not close (even maintenance had a problem with it); could not control the heat (beastly hot...no wonder the window was open!), first morning cold water shower, second day after 4 calls to maintenance I still did not have a working toilet. There are too many really good hotels in downtown Chicago to put up with this.

the room was in great dis-repair, draperies were torn and haning down on one window, worn carpeting at the bathroom entrance, wallpaper coming apart from the walls, very little water pressure in the shower. Very, very disappointing.
