LOVE - the staff! Front desk gives great directions and advice for local excursions. Housekeeping staff (Francesca was great!) was friendly and accommodating. Great view of Diamond Head. Can walk to Ala Moana for a great swim, or head over to Hilton beach for something shorter.

Very old building, the place is a joke; it's like living in a warehouse. Deceptive prices on parking, dirty walls, carpet, ceiling, etc. I've seen cleaner Motel 6's.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again. you are close to the beach.

We've stayed @ the Grand Wailea, Hilton & Hyatt's.It does not have the tropical landscape and the palm tree ambience but the beds are comfy, the view of Diamond Head was spectacular, the hot water for showers was immediate, the corner diner was good and it had a small kitchenette fully equipped.And the whole five days we never waited for more than a minute for an elavator.

We stayed 5 nights there. Had a king bed, the TV was up on the ceiling (not great for bending our necks!). Our coffee pot was never emptied or cleaned. The maid left her cleaning rag, didn't replace with clean glass in the bathroom one night. ...

This was a great hotel for people who want to go outside of Honolulu Waikiki area. It is a affordable hotel for people who want to be close to the beach/Waikiki shopping district.
