We stayed here in 2002. Our room was very large compared to hotels in Honolulu, and our walk-out balcony was massive. We loved eating papaya and ahi poke and watching the birds while we enjoyed the ocean breeze.

We'll upgrade to ocean view next time, but we're not complaining, not a bad view from any room.

The hotel features comfortable open-air seating areas, a verandah bar with an incredible view, and an exercise room that looks out on the ocean. The adjacent beach provides easy access to snorkeling and body surfing.

Our room was comfortable, incredibly clean, and we could sit on the lanai and watch the sea turtles swimming below us.

We're planning a return trip!

My room was so dirty I only stayed one night and made other arrangements after that. I had planned on staying there a week. I was very disappointed.

We have stayed at the Keauhou Beach Resort twice once in Nov 1993 & again in July 2002. We enjoyed it both times. Just about all the rooms have ocean views. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. The beach was nice and had a break water Making it perfect for small children. Sea turtles come to visit inside the break water and even on the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
