It is not hard to sell me on a hotel when they have penguins to welcome you! The Hyatt is a beautiful resort with pretty gardens and animals like swans, flamingos and parrots that inhabit the land. Their sushi restaurant was a great setting on a patio by the ocean and their luau is a great show. Food was so-so. It is an ideal location on the ...

Resort is great, parrots seems to need some attention
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/06
I like the resort overall. Its a Hyatt and its the best.
Only thing I didn't like about was the Parrots in the hall. I feel like they would like to have some attention and some looks a little depresed.
I stayed in the Sheraton next door in my next trip and love it there since at Sheraton, you could just go out and snorkelling from the beach. I even see a turtle.

We Cant Wait to Get there!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/01/06
We've been going to the Hyatt every 2-3yrs.and LOVE IT. We like all that they have to offer. How ever, You do have to walk a bit to another part of the beach to go swimming. The way we see it, Walking is healthy and you will appriciate it more when you get there.
They need to strive on keeping the kids out of the Adult Pool.
The hubby and I along with my mom and stepfather stayed at the Hyatt from November 19-27 over the Thanksgiving holiday. Words cannot describe how amazing our stay was. We had an ocean view with a King size bed, it was very spacious for not having a suite. The pool was beautiful and the gym was amazing. I am a regular at the gym here in Michigan ...

Great Hyatt Maui Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/30/05
We like the hotel’s Indonesian motif. The staff gave us leis upon check-in and we got an overview of the amenities from the bellman as we walked to our room. We thought it was great that our room was upgraded to a partial view of the ocean even though we didn’t request it. From the lobby, you can see the ocean, coconut trees, many tropical plants, ...
We stayed there in July '05 and it was absolutely breathtaking! The rooms were luxurious and we had dinner on our lanai while watching the sunset over the ocean. The pool was fun and the products from Spa Moana smelled yummy! There is so much to do there and the service is top-notch.

We have been here twice and would like to return soon
We loved our stay, the grounds are magnificent, pool is the greatist, Swan court has great dining room and the food is superb. The location is very good and within walking distance to many resturants. I wish the room prices were a little less expensive so we go more often.
