The only thing I did not like about this place was that the beds were too hard. they weren't necessarily uncomfortable, I am just used to my soft bed. It needs o be updated. The Hale Koa is the perfect beach and has the best beachside tiki bar. There is a little PX there and the food is excellent.

The Hale Koa is a great way for the US Government to thank it's service men and women, active and retired for their service. Love the Hale Koa for its price and location. It has one of the best bars on the beach in the Barefoot bar and some of the greatest values in dining on the island.
