The Location, park area between the hotel and the beach is great. Price is half of the price you would pay to stay at hotels in the area. Although it is not five star rated hotel it is clean and profrssionally operated.

When my husband was in Japan for six months his unit went to Hawaii to do some manuvers. I flew out there to meet him and we stayed at the Hale Koa. The hotel is beautiful, and the service was wonderful. Our room had a great ocean view. My husband has since left the military, but if we could we would stay there over and over again!

I took my husband to Hawaii last year after returned from OIF II. This was my gift to him. We had such a wonderful time. He actually relaxed and left some of his stress at home. I lived in Hawaii as a girl when my father was stationed at Hickam. We stayed at the Hale Koa when we arrived and when we had our orders to move. It has only gotten better!

The Hale Koa is awesome! It's beautiful - tastefully decorated both inside and out! The Hale Koa is within walking distance of many actractions, restaurants, etc. There are city buses that pick up/drop off at the hotel (although I recommend car rental - which they can arrange at the hotel)... they have their own Luau - it has a PX/BX type store ...

The hotel is located just steps from the beach and in the middle of town so it's easy to get to restaurants and shopping with just walking. The rooms are spacious and bright and clean and provide beautiful views of the beach and ocean.
