Location, location, location!Stay at the Omni for the location. Wonderful Atlanta attractions are within walking distance. You can see an event at Phillips Arena or Georgia Dome and walk back to your room. Given Atlanta traffic, particularly with a large event in town, that alone will make you happy! We had a wonderful get-a-wayFriendly staff that helped us plan our day events. They arranged our dinner plans and handle all extra requests.
Our room faced out to the square with beautiful sunsets.

Great viewsThis is a great hotel. It has amazing views of downtown. It's right next to the CNN Center, Georgia World Congress Center, Georgia Dome and Philips Arena and it's across the street from Centennial Olympic Park. #1 Hotel Downtown AtlantaI love the hotel and location however the Concierge staff are stupid, matter of fact they really are not Concierge at all. They use ordinary staff and call them Concierge.

If you are going for sports...this is the place!I have stayed at the Omni twice while attending basketball tournaments in Atlanta. Worth the Money!!Although it can be somewhat confusing to navigate your way around the various wings and levels, we found our stay at the Omni very enjoyable.

The worst 'club level' amenitiesWe stayed at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center the last weekend of August and the accommodations were less than acceptable. Our leisure time is very limited so when we do travel we like to enjoy the extra services and perks of 4 and 5 star hotels. I love this hotelThis is a very nice, clean 1st class hotel.
The location is excellent for different events in that area, walking distance to the georgia dome, cnn center, and gwcc, there is plenty of shopping, and food courts in the cnn center. Disappointing serviceIt took 8 calls with no answer to order room service. Had to call for key to minibar. All Front doors were locked at 10pm and you have to walk around to the garage/valet area to get in the hotel at night. Desk area closed in one tower and have to walk across street to front desk.
