The worst customer service EVER!!! Rude desk help. Needed restaurant info after game at Phillips arena and they had no phone books and kept telling me to use room service. Rude, rude, rude and not willing to help with any services other than hotel. Over-priced restaurants, over-priced rooms. Location does not make up for poor service and way too expensive $2.50 for a canned soda
We stayed at the Omni 12 and 13 Feb 09. Our room was fantastic. We had an unbelieveable view of the city skyline. During our stay there was a cheerleader competition, so the hotel was flooded with teenagers. Dispite this, we had a very quiet two days.
The Omni is right across the street from Centienial Park and within walking distance to the ...

Before going to this hotel, I read through reviews and I noticed similar gripes from many customers: poor service, dirty room, noisy, etc...
My boyfriend and I decided to stay here because we were going to a hockey game that night at the Phillips Arena and we liked the convenience. If you have to go to a sporting event at either Phillips Arena ...

Good for conventions
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/07
Stayed there for a convention. The hotel is a bit old and you can see that some of the maintenance has been deferred and needs a little bit of help. I stayed on the seventh floor close to the Park on the South Tower of the Hotel. Great Views however, tends to get a bit noisy if there is a band playing. It is within walking distance to the ...

Would stay there again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/07
This hotel was very nice. It was always clean, they had great service, and it is close to convention center. The rooms were very nice, & we actually had "turn down" service. I would recommend this hotel to other colleague's.

Nicest place I've ever been!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/04/07
My twin sister and I were in Atlanta for the Final Four basketball weekend. We could see from the website that this hotel was beautiful -- and it is! The three most important things about a hotel, I believe, are cleanliness/comfort, location, and the people who work there. All three were outstanding! In the five days we were there, we met the ...
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

If you're going to a sporting event at the Phillips arena or Georgia Dome, the location can't be beat. It's a great feeling to know you don't have to leave early from a sporting event to beat the traffic.
A little advice:
Check in as soon as possible! I don't care if the game is at night, check in early (before 3 pm) ...

Excellent downtown hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/06
I was in Atlanta for the Notre Dame/Georgia Tech game and spent just a single night at the Omni. It was a terrific experience! A high quality hotel in the heart of downtown. Right next to Olympic Park and the CNN Center. Friendly staff and very nice rooms. I would definitely recommend it and will look to stay there on a future visit to Atlanta. By ...
