Small Boutique Charm.......I had a layover at the airport and stayed at the Runway. My room reminded me, very much of being in NYC, It was darling and must have been recently upgraded, as everything seemed new. Would definitely stay again. Worst hotel ever!!!!Got into the hotel, lobby and hallways extremely hot. Hallways smelled like urine. Door to the room had to be bashed in by throwing my shoulder against it to make it open. Once in the room, it was about 100 degrees because they do not leave the air conditioning (window unit) on while no one is in the room. this hotel is horrible!Um...pictures online look good,but as soon as we arrived to the hotel i was shocked.The building looked really old, and i really don't like cats, but for some reason there was a cat sleeping on the furniture outside (later on my bf told me that the cat has flees, gross).when we went inside, i wanted to leave after seeing a guy on the front desk ...Was this review helpful? Clean, comfortable and convenientThis was a nice find close to the Miami airport. I called from the airport courtesy phone and the person at the front desk told me they had just finished remodeling the hotel. The price was so reasonable I was a little suspect but took a chance.

Very Nostalgic Hotel .......Old Florida Hotel that was recently remodeled. Very clean, comfortable an definitely affordable. Free transporation to and from the Airport. The staff was very friendly. Excellent ValueNeeded to stay in Miami overnight before a cruise; heard about this place from a friend who had recently stayed there. It is newly renovated and found it to be very comfortable, clean with good service and free transportation to airport and sea port. your biggest nightmareThis event was right out of a movie--going on a cruise the next day--midnight tired etc. someone waited 45 mins for shuttle we waited 2 hours. The smelliest man on earth was on the shuttle, I couldn'd roll the windows down fast enough. Never againFor this hotel isn't any rating possible - the lowest is far to high!!!!!
Incredible, awful stinky !! We left after 30min.
The guy behind the frontdesk did his best - no chance.
The aircondition ist that noisy and produced a cold storm in the room - no joke. No way to shut down that machine.

the worst hotel everwhen I arrived, I knew I had made a mistake, but it was late and my flight left in 8 hours so I stayed. My biggest problem was the lack of air-condioning, it was August and hot!!! and you could not control the air or lack there of. I reminded me of a transient hotel...I slept with my clothes on and did dare get under the soiled comforter. and left early in the morning NEVER AGAIN!Was this review helpful?
