I go to Harbor Beach annually and this year (2009) it seems poorly managed. All restaurants were severely understaffed. The people are good, don't get me wrong, but they are placed in an unfair situation. It is unfortunate because it is such a pretty resort and looks even better this year but kitchens and wait-staff could not keep up with the volume of people.

Pool was very nice. Doing some remodeling by the pool, but still very nice. Great being right on the beach. Work out room better than average.
But parking cost half as much a renting a car. Breakfast for two, $50+. Same amount for a not good lunch at the pool. Wireless Internet for the room was $12.95 a day. They do however, have free wifi ...

Staff was family friendly. I loved the beautiful room and the service was wonderful. Children had many activities. Atmosphere great for families. Spent alot of time at pool. Was provided a sunset sitting with a master photograher. We will return next year with friends!!!!

I love the service. Everyone's so profressional and accomodating. The grounds and facilities are top rate. My daughter and I go every year. This year one of our entire days was spent at the spa which was a wonderful experience.

The recent renovation is certainly obvious. Both the public spaces and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. The beach was sparkling clean (sand and water) and the pool area as well. If we were to stay there again, however, I would rent a car. It's off the beaten path (which can be nice) but you can't really walk to any nice restaurants ...

i have 'nt even been to this hotel because i am from perth. But i love the look of it and hope to go there one day

A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The room was beautiful and the view of the water and pool was awesome. The service was outstanding and the people who worked there were fun and friendly. I will definitely make this a vacation retreat every year from now on.

Beautiful Ocean front room with a fantastic view of the ocean and shoreline. The bed and the room amenities were excellent. Upgrades to hotel were wisely done. My love was very impressed. We intend to return sometime in 2008. Breakfast buffet was excellent, and the late night activities at the bar were enjoyable. Nice time, wish we could have stayed longer, family emergency forced us to leave sooner than we intended.
