The pictures on the website are very deceiving. The place is very rundown, and the rooms are unkept and dirty. There were dead bugs and cockroaches in the bathroom. This review is about the Away Inn. This place is terrible !
There were bugs all over the room. It took customer service 4 hours to send someone to spray. The tub had mildew and the water was brownish-yellow. The bedsheets were stained and the staff was very unfriendly.
Would NEVER stay there again !!!

These pictures are of Lauderdale Beachside Hotel and NOT Away Inn. Away Inn is a 31 room Inn that is across the street. Away Inn is very clean and the employees are very guest oriented.

Although it looks nice online, this place was a real dump! Our room was
dirty, as was the carpet. The room also had a bad smell. The bedsheets were stained, the water was brownish-yellow, and there was mold growing in the tub. There was also no hot water in the shower. They charged us extra for an extra rollaway bed and the staff was very unfriendly. They refused to give any type of refund or credit. Will never stay there again!!!

Perfect place to stay right on the beach! It has a resturant with a nice bar, it has an outdoor bar right by the pool and the beach, an outdoor grill that you can order food at so it didn't interrupt our tanning. Great bartenders outside! WE recently stayed at this resort..It is definitley deceiving online.. It looks nice online.. but what a dump.. The room was rundown and dirty.. not only did I see bugs.. but i got bit all over the inside of my arms and wrist.. I realized this the next morning (second day we were there).. thank-god we were only there for those two days... I WILL NEVER STAY AT A PLACE LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

The hotel truly is a dump, but we had a great rate so it was worth what we paid. Great location, however the hotel itself should be closed down! The building's are old and falling apart( not due to hurrican damage but utter neglect !) The rooms are just grossss!!!! Dirt,mold,bugs and everything gross you can think of greeted us at check-in! I would not recommend the Clarion to anyone!!
