believe me, this is a very dirty hotel.

Aweful service at front desk and resturant.With reservation in hands it took us more than an hour to be assigned the rooms. The lady at front desk ,for sure, did not know how to check in the people. But the worse was in resturant. We went in for breakfast. Again it took us 30-45 minutes to be served just coffee. We ask serval times for waiters to get our order but nobody give a Sh... . We left the resturant with having no breakfast.

Don't let pictures of the exterior fool you. The Holiday Inn, Coral Gables, is an old, dirty hotel that is marginally OK for one night, if you aren't fussy about cleanliness. The halls stink, the carpet is dirty and worn, the bathroom floors are sticky, the bathtubs are broken and mended in a shoddy fashion, there is mold in the shower. ...

The rates in Coral Gables can easily run $150 a night so for $79 this is not a bad place to stay. As you can expect at this rate the service was average. The hotel is well worn and in need of a face lift. The one restaurant was adequate. However, many excellent restaurants are within walking distance. If this hotel wants to attract busines ...
