I just came home after a few days of body surfing in Daytona Beach. I feel I need to throw in my five cents where I stayed at. The Hawaiian Inn is in dismal state and would require massive renovation to get it to habitable state. The ongoing repair will not do much good as many structural supports and beams were marked in red paint indicating ...

Jackhammers, dust, noise: Renters Beware
By bpeter391, 01/11/09
No mention of the on-going construction on web sites trying to rent out rooms here. Jackhammers, dust, closed floors, water shut off....Terrible place for a holiday.

Web site is misleading!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/08
When we made the reservation, I was told, WE WOULD HAVE THE "BEST" ROOM. We get there the front desk are friendly, the building is old but clean, the pool and the putt putt golf was dirty and the court yard needed cleaning. We go to our so called BEST room and it was a dump. I had asked for a kitchen and what they call a kitchen was a 2 ...

WONDERFUL LOCATION
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/08
The location of the Hawaiian is perfect for the beach, it's oceanfront and close to the events. I have been coming here for seven years. This February they made alot of improvements from last year. Cant wait till next year.
We stay here every time we go to florida (4 years now) and we just love it!! A little wild at spring break, but it was fun. Having a little trouble this year making our res. Can't find a site to make them on. Can't wait to go back!!!!

203 very nice
By nicholsonnathan11, 02/13/08
My party had two rooms, my room (203)was fantastic . My parents room was not as nice. The pool deck is great, I visited a year ago also and the hotel has came a long way. The location is nice. I would recommend this to anyone, I would, however, check out the room before I paid as each room is very different. All in all, can't be beat for the money.

We were in a condo. It was beautiful. The staff was wonderful. Atmosphere is a real plus. Tiki bar had great drinks and food.
