We were quickly disappointed as we arrived for our 1 week stay at this hotel. It did not take us long to realize we would be asking for a refund and going somewhere else.
Upon arrival, we learned we would have to PAY a daily parking fee. The lot was small and the underground parking was dirty, smelly, and had leaking water pipes above most of ...
First, when we arrived our hotel room wasn't ready ... even though check in time was listed as 3PM. It was annoying that we got to the hotel at 1PM and had to wait a while ... but we understood this as our issue not the hotel's. I mention that because NOTHING at The Boardwalk felt accommodating. We asked multiple times for additional towels ...

Disgraceful Hotel

On arrival having paid in full for accommodation, there was no booking, had to wait 1 hour having travelled from Ireland, tired and hungry. Got up next morning to no electricity, no hot water. Staff are moody and miserable. Don't stay here. Plenty of nicer hotels very close by.

First room we got had a few issues, rotten food in fridge, no hot water, no heat, (was in the 40's at night), they moved us to another. Still no heat, but sent a nice guy to fix it in a few minutes. You can tell this used to be a very nice place about 10 years ago. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was better than expected. Daytona ...
This hotel is right on the beach, but quite a distance from the major Daytona Beach shopping, entertainment and boardwalk districts, even though the name might imply otherwise. The service was nothing amazing; the breakfast was quite nice, though, and it was free. The lobby is very nicely designed, with a fountain outsdie that can be seen through ...
First of all, I was under the impression that the rooms were ocean front/view especially from the pictures they show on line. Not to mention I stressed about wanting to view the ocean. Get there, they stick me in a room on the bottom level viewing the parking lot-but did move me when asked only to a higher level though. The parking there is a joke. ...

I have been coming to Daytona for 17 years. We always stayed at the same place until it sold out. I made the reservations on line after finding it on the internet. We were told we had an ocean view. We had an ocean view only if we walked out and leaned over the walkway to see it. When we went into our room, it was very clean, but much smaller than ...
A nice hotel for the money and location. Very close to the boardwalk, but far enough out of the way to not feel too crowded on the beach. The kids loved playing in the water-fall fountain and pool, and it was really nice to be able to dip in the pool to get the sand and salt off of you before going back the room. Ocean view was great with big ...
