I was here for a conference, never would have picked this place unless the event organizers suggested it. First of all I had barely been there for 12 hours and the second time I came to my room my key didn't work. Completely exhausted, I had to go back down the 9 floors to get the key reactivated. Okay, fine that happens right? Well I was ...
The Washington Court certainly would not be mistaken for a five-star hotel but is most definitely a fine value considering its location and general quality.
The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable enough, the on-site food is adequate and the location perfect if a Hill-centric locale is preferred.
If there is one significant negative to ...

Would be a great hotel as long as you never need to talk to the staff!
The hotel front desk staff was horrible. I was waiting for a fax of my passport since an airport staff person had kept my driver's license by accident. I called the front desk three times and was told that I'd be notified when it arrived. After waiting in my room for word of my fax, I finally called back after several hours of watching ...

After some extensive research we decided on the Washington Court. Great location if you want to take the subway and/or if you decide to walk to see the many sites around DC. Would recommend to anybody. Nice big rooms and very clean. The staff was very courteous and pleasent.

Great hotel at great price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/03/05
My daughter and I recently stayed at the Washington Court. We thought the hotel beautiful, a fantastic location. The bathroom was quite luxurious and large. The bar and restaurant stood to the best. The staff was friendly and helpful. We checked the surrounding hotels and none compared, especially in price. Will definitely be our hotel of choice in D.C.
I likes everything to include the room service 2 in the morning. The luxurious bed, the internet access was fast etc... The customer service was excellent from the time you walked into the lobby of the hotel. The hotel is right on the captiol, so it made site seeing so convenient. It also had a very beautiful resturant on the main floor. The food was exceptional.

I HAVE NO DISLIKES ABOUT THIS PLACE THE SERVICE WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND, THE CONCIERGE WAS THE BEST HIS NAME IS PATON DON'T REMEMBER THE LAST NAME.THE LOCATION WAS ABSOLUTE THE BEST,WE HAD ACCESS TO WHAT WE NEEDED FOOD,PARKING,SHOPPING,BARS.THE ROOM WAS IMPECCABLE,THE VIEW WAS GREAT WE COULD SEE THE CAPITAL FROM OUR ROOM. THE LOUNGE AND BAR WAS GOOD THE RESTROOM IN THE LOBBY WAS VERY CLEAN EASY ACCESS.I HAD A GOOD VISIT TO OUR STATE CAPITAL.
The Washington Court is steps away from beautiful Union Station and it's wonderful Trolley tours. The service lavishes you with wonderful smiles and amentities. From local clubs to a variety of cultural cuisines, The Washington Court is in the middle of it all. For fun, adventure, a simple nighttime coctail to a restful place to lay your head, The Washington should be your first 2nd home to unpack at.

The Washington Court
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/05
We had previously stayed at the Washington Court Hotel, and the first stay was excellent. But then the second time we came it was disaster upon disaster. We requested a room with a 2 double beds, and got a king size bed and a cot.(a cheap cot at that) Then i asked the concierge to direct me to a Starbucks, and was led on a wild goose chase through ...
