The website offers AAA rooms for $75, but we were told we couldn't get this price due to "availability". We paid $99. Yet, the large hotel was almost empty. Room was nice and clean but no soap in bath. Electricity went off during the night so we were late for a meeting. The buffet breakfast was horrible. Scrambled eggs were hard. Staff was pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel as we had a wedding to attend in Danbury. We got a great rate and therefore came a day head of time so that we wouldn't have to rush. I ended up going somewhere else. We went to the fourth floor (pool is located there). There were water stains and damage to hallway ceilings, as well as a clear presence of mold. The hotel smelled awful in the vestibule and "perfumey" in the lobby. This is an old building and it smells as such. I cannot say anything about the room or service, because we left. This place is in dire need of renovation.

Wouldn't rate it 4 stars, but it definitely deserves 3. Easy to locate from the highway, room was available and ready upon arrival. Room was stocked with towels, but a request for more conditioner never came.
Unfortunately, there was no trendy things, nightlife, or even choices of restaurants around. Good for students, not ideal for couples looking to go out.
