The hotel itself is worth a recommendation, but the friendly, cheerful, helpful staff really made our stay outstanding. They were always pleasant and helpful, made good recommendations regarding restaurants and places to go and things to do. They went beyond what could be expected, and we really appreciated it! The hotel is very interesting, with ...
This had to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When we booked, I made sure to get a suite. Well....the old beds and musty furniture was awful. To top it off we were supposedly on a non-smoking floor...yeah right. There was smoke pouring out of the room down the hall. I called to complain (we have an infant) and they came up and said ...
The place was beautiful this holtel had such friendly service. My kids love it! This hotel should be a 6 Star holtel! Thank You for the awsome service.
While The Hotel Denver may be one of the best places to stay in Glenwood Springs, this isn't saying much in this past it peak town. This is a typical hotel in an highly touristed town that no longer needs to work for business. As soon as you step into the lobby you know what you are in for. Everything about this hotel is tired. While ...
Both my stays at Hotel Denver have been enjoyable experiences. The rooms in the original building are really charming and furnished with antiques. Management has done a good job in incorporating the same feel in the newer section (situated over the brewpub.) The location is really ideal, especially since I have traveled there both times on Amtrak. My highest recommendation.
Booked online through the Hotel Denver website. Choose the "colorado room" from the pics and discription of the view. Was very disapointed. Instead of the personal room with antiques and nice bed I got a run down room with extension cords all over, a horrible paint job, and an old metal-framed bed that squeaked loudly. The tv was way ...
Across the street from the AMTRAC and across the bridge from the hot springs. Half a block from two nice restraunts along the river. Two blocks from the main street that crosses the river. Great town easy ride from Denver or Boulder. You can take the train from Denver and walk across the street and walk in. Then you won't need a car as you can walk around.
The staff was friendly & helpful. The decor in the rooms was very charming. Room was unique with quilts & antiques. Very clean. Great dining in the Brewpub on site. Right downtown, close to shops & restaurants. Just over the bridge from Hot Springs Pool. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!
