The HIE at Solvang was definitely a good value for the money. The room was clean, though there was a musty odor that seemed to increase with the use of the AC. Reserved a King room, however upon arrival AC didn't work. I was immediately moved to a Queen room that was clean/quiet/attractive and had a great view. Free breakfast, free morning newspaper & a short walk to town. Employess were way above average. On the expensive side, however a wonderful experience.
