front desk personnel were not only rude but very unhelpful. our room was nice but the entry ways into the buildings were dirty. when asking about the hotel dining facilities and hours, we were never given a direct answer, consequently we ate all of our meals elsewhwere.

This hotel overcharges... we stayed in a Red Lion Inn in Klamath Falls, ORE for 2 nites and the price was less than this hotel for one nite.
They charged $14.00 for occupancy tax here... wow! a ripoff plus pet fee for 2 little pups under 10 lbs. $20.00... Never again!!! Plus no continental

On the plus side, the Redding Red Lion Inn had well appointed rooms, nice design, quality furniture and fixtures, an attractive lobby though slightly dated and worn in places.

Every year we stay here for Kool April Nights. The customer service is great! The rooms are clean, and it is in a great location! Walking distance to all the fun!

Red Lion Hotel charged me double what my rate was supposed to be for my entire stay. When I spoke to the manager about this, he rudely replied that it was not their mistake and that basically I had to deal with it. No customer service at all! I have never felt so unwelcomed and belittled during a hotel stay in my life!

I stayed here since I am familiar with Red Lion properties. What a depressing experience. The rain may have contributed to that but the entire propery needs to be overhauled. The rooms are old and outdated and the halls are in complete disarray. The baseboards were missing or falling off all over the place. I won't be back.
