This place is the origin of the saying,"Caveat emptor!" Prepare to be ripped off. On 18 November, I had booked a "suite" for $175/night. What I got was a tiny, nasty little room with holes in the walls and a dark, dingy shower without soap, shampoo or coffee. I went to complain to the front desk and was told that it was the only ...

go back for another new year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/06
I first stayed at the Anabella last year for New Year's eve and could not ask for a better place. I loved it so much that we are staying again this year for New Year's. I really like that the room I stayed in was L shaped so there was privacy between both beds. I stayed with my family( 3 adults and 1 child) We tend to stay in our rooms more ...

Don't believe the bad reviews
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
My husband and I just took our 2 young kids to Disneyland and stayed at the Anabella. They were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were extremely well set up for families and you couldn't beat the price. We had a small suite and the kids had their own room. It was small but very functional. The location was couldn't be closer (it is at ...

Will Stay Again...Forsure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/06
We stayed at the Anabella October 29-30, 2006. We had a conceirge club room that was very nice. We arrived a few hours early (2:00pm) and were able to check in to our room. Our champagne was chilled and waiting. We got cleaned up after our long drive and went to the parks, when we returned there was cheesecake waiting in our fridge (very good). We ...
The Annabella needs to do more to turn a roadside motel into a luxury hotel. Like: - get some water pressure - update the A/C - slip-proof mats for bathroom - invest in privacy shades - do some team building to get their employees smiling
other than that...er...no...i still wouldnt stay here again.

My sister and I just returned from a 3 day stay at the Anna Bella Hotel in Anaheim. We were attending the National AARP Seminar being held at the Anaheim Convention Center. We chose the Anna Bella simply because it was offered as one of the official hotels available for the seminar. We were wonderfully surprised and blown away with the hotel!! ...

A good place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/06
We stayed at the Anabella for ten nights and had a wonderful time. We had a king sized bed and a double, which was perfect for a family of four. We were walking distance from disneyland, our two young kids had no problem with the distance. We found the staff very helpful. The swimming pool was great, we swam there every night. I would stay at the Anabella again.
My family and I stayed there from August 14th to the 17th and were very pleased. We were able to check in early and the room was quite nice. The food at the Tangerine was a bit pricy but very good and the service was timely. There was an incident where the people in the room next to usopened the adjoining door and rrealized a mistake called the ...

if service improved...I would go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/06
The room was lovely...decorated very nice...spacious and had a flat screen TV. The service for house keeping was excellent. The service for breakfast and lunch was not good. We ate lunch 3 times at the resort and had to wait each time for what I consider excessive wait times. It was so hot and we had to ask the barkeep for water. The server ...

Best not to have expectations...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/06
We planned our vacation 6/14 thru 6/18, and chose the Anabella based on online reviews, most of which were positive. Reservations were made thru a Southwest Airlines package, and confirmed. But when we got there, they had no idea who we were, excuses were made, but we did get a room. The room was clean, dim lighting (to conserve power?), had ...
