This hotel was presented to us as something quite different from what it actually is: we were excited about having a "suite". What we got was a simple room and bathroom, and then a pokey, stuffy bedroom off to the back (but yes, it did have its own tv.).
There was a small bar fridge in the main room, under the tv, but no proper table ...

Don't Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/07
Our room key did not work 3 different times at our door we had to go all the way down to the lobby to get it reprogrammed. There was no hot water ALL day, they did make accommodations for the guest to use another room but I had 4 kids with me and to trace across the 2 park lots to get to it was very inconvenient. The hotel manger called and said ...

Great Experience

LIKES: The Anabella Hotel is a definate MUST STAY if looking for an inexpensive and great staying experience in Anaheim. Located "directly across" from Disney's California Adventure (directly south), you can not beat the value. We took full advantage of the Concierge Level room. They were great for a family of 5. The kids had their ...

hesitating to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/28/07
We stayed there for one night (2/25/07) and were awaken at 7:00 am in the morning by loud banging noises coming clearly from the upstairs room. We have three small kids asleep and who needed to stay asleep before going to Disneyland. We called to complain and were told that it was the convention center doing this. The convention center is accross ...
I enjoyed my family's stay at this hotel. The room was reasonably quite, and we could see Disneyland's fireworks at night time. Disneyland was right across the street, however we had to drive further to get to the car entrance. The hotel's restaurant "Tangerine Grill" was lovely, had nice food, and good service. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the hotel and would go back there anytime.

Cool, comfortable, always lots of space
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/06
I have stayed at the Anabella twice. The first time I got a junior suite which was great it allowed my mother her own room and privacy. The second time I got a deluxe room which was extremely spacious and cool, and with it's own patio! I haven't seen any other hotel rooms near Disneyland with this much space for the price.
