We got into our Villa with my kids.. The villa had the worst MOLD smell. We could not breed after 5 minutes staying in the Villa, My daughter and I got sick. The resort is a small family owned and the service is ( 0 ) Zero .. I do not recommend this resort to anyone.. I will never go back again .
I was invited to listen to a 90 minute presentation and at the end of it I was promised certain gifts. The presentation actually lasted 5 hours. The one thing I did not enjoy was the constant harassment I received. Everyone involved in this business are out get your money at all cost. They will tell you anything you want to hear in order to sell ...
The pool and upkeep of the grounds are well kept. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, which was spacious. The rooms needed to be updated but were clean. The balcony floor and furniture were filthy and walking out there made our feet black. We had a mouse in our room one night, but maintenance put a trap down and it was caught the next morning. Stilll gross! ...

Love it!

Beautiful and quiet, away from the city. Great amentities, staff and wonderful place to relax! We LOVE the executive golf course, pools, and they're constructing new Mountain Villas as we speak! We can't wait to try those out!
My family always enjoys the peace and beauty of the area. The rooms are spacious and well kept and having a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer makes it so conveniant. I do agree with most reviewers that the staff at the Canyon grill are rude (you have to question as to why they continue to keep the same staff and/or managment?????). Anyways to ...

Must return again and use the grounds more!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/08
We loved the place! So much to do and so little time. Was accomodated to get a unit that did not have stairs. The 2 bdrm/2 bath unit was spacious and very accomodating for the two of us, and our seven guests (not all at once, though). Liked the the washer/dryer in unit and the full kitchen, which helped us travel lighter than usual. Bedroom linen ...

Enjoyed it, but probably won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/08
My wife and I went here earlier this month for a 1-year anniversary trip and enjoyed our time for the most part. I don't think we'll be coming back again, but that is because we don't really like to go to the same spot twice. I recommend this place, especially for families. Bring your wallet though.
We have stayed at Welk Resort twice. The first time we were in the older Villas. The second time we were in the newer Villas on the Greens. Both were extremely clean and comfortable. The grounds are well kept with an absolutely beautiful array of bedding plants. There are many pools and rec. centers. There is a full schedule of activities for ...

Nice rooms, lot of road noise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/08
Pros: Beautiful setting; huge, clean condo (older ones); not too far to Legoland, Seaworld, Wild Animal Park, etc; Warm well cared for pools; good quality theater production (Oklahoma!) Cons: Road noise from I-15 was so loud we could hear it night and day - no conversation was possible on the v large balcony - we were the closet rooms in the ...
The grounds themselves were beautiful. The buildings are a little too close to one another. I could hear the folks next door all night.I could hear them at breakfast too out on the patio. The entire resort is a little too close to the highway. That, I guess can not change. Canyon Grille was fair at best. A martini was $8.00. If I would have ...
