Romantic GetawayMY BOYFRIEND AND I STAYED HERE ON VALENTINES DAY. WHEN CHECKING IN WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD BEEN RANDOMLY SELECTED FOR A FREE ROOM UPGRADE. WHEN WE ENTERED OUR MARINA SUITE WE WERE SUPRISED BY THE FULL KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM AREA. THE HOTEL HAS BEEN NICELY UPGRADED WITH GRANITE COUNTER TOPS AND A NICE BATHROOM WITH DRESSING AREA. Relaxing & Clean... A Special AmbianceWe have stayed here a number of times and love the location as much as the facility itself. Slow, quiet and layed-back! Helpful yet casual service from terrific staff. Nice, mature tropical-esque foliage and impeccably landscaped. Easy walk to the harbor and fabulous nearby restaurants. Great if you love music or weddingsOur room overlooked the marina as well as the venue where concerts and wedding receptions are held.
We sat on our balcony and witnessed two receptions on Saturday and on-check out day watched as the hotel set up for a concert to be held that evening If noice doesn't bother you, go for it! San Diego's FinestWe stayed here on our Honeymoon in 1970, and we come back annually to celebrate. The city and harbor lights are enchanting, we always get a city/harbor view room. Just spent our 2nd holiday there! Can't wait till next year!!!We love everything about this place!! Number one is the concerts & that you go out your hotel room & walk into the excellent music!! Great hotel for tourists unfamiliar with California!The reason you must stay at this hotel is the conceirge desk. They will give you tips on what to do, where to go, how to get there and even arrange it for you! We went kayaking! Donna, the chief conceirge, really made our trip enjoyable.

Another Day in Paradise!Over the period of three years, I was fortunate to get to travel from the Washington, DC-area to San Diego on business on a frequent basis. Whenever possible, I stayed at Humphrey's. What a bit of heaven! Great place to stay!The four adults in our group stayed at Humphrey's for MCRD graduation and had a great time. Our room was a suite which had a separate living room and it was very spacious. if its to loud,your to sensible!!!I LIKE THE HOTEL,JUST NOT WHEN A BAND IS PLAYING,THE GOGO'S WERE SOUND CHECKING ETC,ROADIES ONE TWOING ETC,NOT (EX ROADIE SPEAKING BY THE WAY). SO GOOD WHEN YOUR CHILLING ROUND THE POOL.PLUS ACCESS TO THE GYM ETC WAS AWKWARD DUE TO STAGING ETC.
POOL GOOD,ROOM V.NICE,PRICE FINE,PARKING DID BECOME A HASSLE ON ONE OR TWO OCCASIONS.I WOULD COME AGAIN JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER MY EARPLUGS.
