We were robbed at the housekeeping camp on 9-17-2008. Someone stole a purse right from our table and used the credit cards within 3 hours outside the camp. KEEP Anything of value in the locked in the bear boxes.

We just went last weekend and overall, this was the best camping experience I've had in a long time! Like most of the reviews say, the views were amazing (Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Merced River) it was clean, organized, beds were nice, staff was friendly, and even the campers were friendly.

Liked: The grounds location center in the valley a plus, close to everything! The provided tents, enclosed fence area with tables,BBQ grill, own fire pit, river close and price make this the best camping spots in Yosemite!
Could use additional restroom/showers locations on grounds.

This is a great place to stay if you don't own a tent! The fact that each "room" has electrical outlets is a major plus. Although, to tell you the truth, we hardly used them. My family and I stayed at the housekeeping camp in August 05. The bathrooms were really clean, the showers needed to be cleaned alittle more frequently. Great spot, great river, we even had electrical outlets! We had a great time and can't wait to go back. The Romo family from Reseda, CA.
