Great hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!The best in the San Diego area! Don't go anywhere else but here! Long time former resident of San Diego. Stayed at others on Coronado but nothing beats the Hotel Del for character.

This hotel has been apart of my fondest memories since I was 10 years old. It has a fantastic history and a wonderful property. The hotel has a wonderful history and fantastic service. It is so much fun to bring my family to something I enjoyed as a kid.

Everything about this place is beautiful. There is one warning I wish someone had given me before reserving a room. Beware of booking a room in the historic portion of the hotel. The walls are paper thin and allow you to hear everything going on in the room next door. Which is kind of disgusting the in the case that there are honeymooners in that room. My advice, stay in the new rooms.

I loved the service and the waiter was very curtious to my fiance and my needs. Thank you very much! I had the filet mignon and she the ribeye. Although she asked for the ribeye to be well done. They are constructing more cottages and condos in their complex on the west side. The construction crews are there early and sleep is impossible.
