If you enjoy over priced accomodations and food while egulfed in a mass of screaming children then this is the place for you. My new husband and I stayed one night and will never again return. The historic ambience is completely lost in a wash of low quality additions and decor. If you prefer greater s luxurary and style on the ocean side at a lesser cost visit La Jolla.

We stayed in the California Cabanas and loved it. Service was great! Stay away from the Ocean Tower rooms. Our first floor cabana room had a patio and we could walk right out the back door to the beach. Well worth the price in these rooms, plasma screen, marble bathroom, cozy beds.
