    A friend who loves the place told us to go there for our honeymoon. Overwhelmed with wedding details, we just called them without research and booked a full ocean view room for 3 nights, and told them it was for our honeymoon -- and the internet says it's the Number 1 Honeymoon Location, or something like that.     My husband and I stayed at the Hotel del Coronado on business, and stayed on for our 2nd anniversary. We stayed in the Victorian section, which was very old and historic. The halls reminded us of the movie "The Shining", with the many hallways, older carpet and sloping wood floors. Our room, was smaller than the average ...

    I wish I would have read the review that said, "beware that the victorian rooms have walls that are paper think" before we booked our room. If I were to go again I would stay in the newer "tower" rooms and not in the victorian. We could hear the couple in the next room talking in normal conversational voices... as well as hear ...

    wonderful stay at this hotel which should be 5 stars or above

    i am planning on returning to the resort later this year

    by far the best service of any california resort or hotel

    i would recommend this hotel for anybody that can afford the stay

    Great hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!The best in the San Diego area! Don't go anywhere else but here! Long time former resident of San Diego. Stayed at others on Coronado but nothing beats the Hotel Del for character.

    This hotel has been apart of my fondest memories since I was 10 years old. It has a fantastic history and a wonderful property. The hotel has a wonderful history and fantastic service. It is so much fun to bring my family to something I enjoyed as a kid.

    Everything about this place is beautiful. There is one warning I wish someone had given me before reserving a room. Beware of booking a room in the historic portion of the hotel. The walls are paper thin and allow you to hear everything going on in the room next door. Which is kind of disgusting the in the case that there are honeymooners in that room. My advice, stay in the new rooms.
