convenience to the airport is the only benefit of staying here....in need of updates and renovations....

This is not the place to stay. The rooms are old and dirty, the staff is not very friendly, it is noisy and has unpleasant odors in the rooms and corridors. There were more than 10 very visible disgusting dark hairs (we counted) in the sink, shower and bathroom counter - I don't know how any decent housekeeper could miss this. Speaking of ...

WE CHECKED IN. WE HAD TO DRAG OUR LUGGAGE UP OURSELVES. EVERYONE WAS UNFRIENDLY. WHEN WE GOT TO THE HOTEL ROOM THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE CARPET. STAYING IN HOTELS ABOUT 200 DAYS OUT OF THE YEAR, THIS IS THE WORSE!!!

Unless you are an airplane fan and want to hear planes all night, don't stay here. Room was extemely noisy, awaken every hour by a plane taking off. Room decor was outdated and worn thin. Had a dinner and drink in the bar while listening to a decent jazz quartet before retiring; it took 30 minutes to get our food and another 30 minutes to get our check! Be advised, stay away, go to the Motel 6 on Sepulveda!

The staff treated us with the utmost respect from the front-desk to the bell man, and especially the front-door / valet men. My family had three rooms and parking spot for rental. Clean, comfortable, great dining, reasonable price and convenient to LAX with shuttle service. Great for an overnight stay but not convenient to Los Angelas sights. Good business travel hotel, nice but quiet lobby bar with sports theme. The food and service are very good.

This is the best hotel I have EVER stayed at. The beds were the most comfortable I have EVER slept on. And the buffet was out of this world!
