Stuffy small room with dirty drawers, but great amenities, i.e. coffee maker, complimentary breakfast, free HBO and internet access. Good location, close to Chinatown and Union Square where you can hop on a cable car, catch a bus, or take a subway.

The service at this hotel was horrible!! The room was sweltering; we were told they were experiencing problems with their heating, and it could not be turned down. It was 85 degrees inside, 50 degrees outside, but the window only opened 6 inches. When we woke up the next morning, there was no hot water. Again, we were told there was a problem and ...

Would definately go back again, got a great rate. Room was quiet, all new fixtures in ba throom, room has been redecorated with new carpet also.

The hotel was clean, and the staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. There were some minor issues with the TV/cable, but we weren't in San Francisco to watch TV. The bed was comfy.

The proximity of the hotel to Union Square and the cable cars was a plus. The panhandlers were the only downside. The free breakfast was okay. The cafe next door was convenient. I would definitely go back!

The lobby and staff were above par for a hotel in this price range. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the city. Good location for getting to Union Square(few blocks away). Too many homeless hanging around the area, but they very rarely hassled you much. Overall, very decent hotel for the price. Rooms are small, but they are that way all over San Fran unless your willing to spend big bucks.

I was hosting people in town and they welcomed our visit. I had special requests and they were able complete every one of them. polite and courtous the staff were very likable.

My stay at the Adante was very pleasent. The rooms are small but clean. The staff is friendly and willing to help. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place to stay this is it.
