needs better management1. Hotel staff parked illegally in the handicapped parking...very tacky, I needed the space. If I left for 5 minutes...staff car went right back into the space. Finally they said I "could" park there during my stay --- so they intended to ignore the sign as soon as I left????
2. Loud drunks til 4 a.m.--- the bar is a local hang-out.

Don't stay at this place!!My husband and I just got back from a weekend at this hotel and we were VERY disappointed!! The room was priced at 400$/night and was NOT worth it! It was the most overpriced room that I have ever stayed in! Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website. The room had a very musty and unclean smell. All flash....not much substanceWe came in from NY to have a quiet 5 day get-away for new years....as it turned out we made a fatal mistake in choosing the Viceroy. It may have been the New Years holiday, but a stress test is the best way to really test out a hotel or restaurant. These guys failed miserably....I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Definitely would stay there again!The service was excellent, the personel were very accomadating. It was August when we were there and the air conditioning and the pools were great!
The parking is done by valet, there were a few parking spaces near there on the street which we used when we would be leaving again shortly.

An excellent experience.I live in Palm Springs but go to the hotel all the time. The restaurant is great and so is the spa. They have a very fun Sunday pool party. not gay friendlyI am so dissatisfied that this hotel is not GAY friendly. They are in the heart of Palm Springs. The gay clientel is a large part of this community. We would not come back,The house keeper was very lazy, the room was not clean. Too noise. The bath tub is too old. Valet paking and bell services were bad. The price was too high. Fabulous TimeThis place was fabulous! I loved everything about it! I especially liked the colors of lemon yellow and white - soooooooo relaxing.
The food there is great, imaginative and fresh and the staff are very knowledgeable about preparation and are open to accommodating your every need.
What can I say about the Spa? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, Spa!!!!!
