I've stayed in this hotel often, and keep coming back because I just love the gracious elegance of the public spaces. The hotel is used in movie scenes and banquet rooms are rented for formal events because the grandeur speaks to the heyday of graciousness in the 30's. The staff may see you peeking into a banquet room and offer to turn on ...

I thought it had a great history Good food and a sports bar. Didn't like paying so much for the parking, but we used a lot behind it and that was better I loved this hotel!

4-star Sleezy Hotel Rooms AWFUL
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/07
The only thing good I can say about this place is that the lobby is very beautiful. The parking is terrible and the valet parking is terrible too. I even called from the room to get them to deliver my car and had to wait 10 more minutes. The staff at the front desk were rude and even said to me when I complained about the terrible room ... ...
My wife and I stayed at the Biltmore for two nights to attend a wedding. If you are into first-class ambiance this place is for you. Although our room was somewhat small, the price and overall experience more than made up for it. Our room included a complimentary breakfast. Beware that this is downtown Los Angeles where parking may be expensive. It is within minutes of the Jewelry Mart.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
I cherish this hotel for several reasons. It is a historical building/hotel,documented. The valet parking, concierge, and bellman service, housekeeping is exceptional. I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool as wel the ...

Friendly staff, nice location. This was my first trip to Los Angeles, and I'm thankful that staying here did not introduce any kinks to our experience.

The Best In The World!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
Great service, food, nightlife and rooms. I have never been to such a luxurios hotel in my whole life. This has the best services and a great spa. I reccomend it to anyone even familys.
The building is the most beautiful in downtown L.A., and restaurants/sportsbar with popcorn/gym with indoor pool & dry sauna/shops are great too. Room was quiet and felt like upscale hotel as it is. Location has no fun after dark, and it is far from everything.

this hotel was absolutely stunning. it has so many ammenities as well as beautiful restaurants right inside the hotel. the architecture of the building is amazing and has so much history behind it. It truly was a magnificent hotel whether your are in L.A for business or simply on a family vacation, this is the place to stay.

Wouldn't return for free!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/06
Parking is treated as a hostage situation - and you feel sorry for the attendants, even. It was so confusing, frustrating and aggravating. There is NO self-parking at all, and the neighborhood is NOT any better to deal with! I wanted access to my car (imagine such a thing!!) and had to be personally escorted by an attendant on a long convoluted ...
