My family stays here every time we go to Santa Curz. Staying here is great because of the short walk to the Boardwalk, and a bit longer to the wharf. The linens were changed every night, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The only thing that we dont really like (but dont mind) is the breakfast pastries they serve for breakfast. Other than that, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for for a few days

We stayed this past weekend. Room was ok, stayed in a double queen room. Very quiet room, noise was not a factor. Made reservations through priceline.com, was put at the very back of the inn. I just called to make a reservation and the receptionist informed me that they are no longer a Best Western, they do not contribute to Best Western Rewards but they still have a AAA discount. I just thought this would be helpful if you are looking specifically for a Best Western.

At the last minute we decided to take a trip to the beach. The Torch Lite Inn looked nice so we pulled in. Found out that it has a heated pool and is walking distance to the beach/boardwalk and that did it for us. The pool was clean, large and WARM. The rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. I recommend this to every family.

Pros: Within walking distance to the boardwalk, though you have to pass panhandlers to get there. Rooms on the 2nd floor are quiet and the pool was nice. Parking on premises. Refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Cons: Shower was horrendous - it was a corner stall w/curtain which would not stay shut. It is a good thing that I am short, because the shower head is very low on the wall. A/C was very loud. Room was on the dark side.
