We have stayed here every years since 2000. We Love It! For the money, you can't beat it. Hotels next door are $350.00 to $500.00 a night. It was getting run down, BUT! It is now REMODELED! The pool area is beautiful, and if you can get a room with a walkout to the pool, you are on top of the world! 10 minute drive to most attractions in ...
this hotel was so perfect for our week stay. great location, very clean, beautiful pool area. coffee ,tea avaiable 24 hr a day ...nice continental breakfast . front desk so helpful. cool street....get a room that either looks out to the pool or your doors open to pool area. great!!!!you name it and the popular holllywood rest are near bye
We had stayed there many times before without incident. Imagine our horror with being bit by bed bugs and then again when the staff decided to lie and say they were not there after moving us to another room. They have bed bugs and we have proof and we do not want this to happen to ANYONE ANYWHERE but while paying this price and having been bit ...
We absolutely love this hotel and won't stay anywhere else when we're in LA/Hollywood. First of all, the hotel is small and charming and pretty, which is a nice counterpoint to the city itself! The pool is surrounded by bouganvillea and palms and you feel you are in France. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean and quiet. ...
there was nothing that i liked about this hotel. The man at the front desk was SO incredibly rude. We were in town for a birthday and the attitude of the staff completely ruined our time. After confronting them over the situation i was offered nothing in return. No upgrade, not ever an apology, nothing. I would absolutely never come back to this hotel if it was the last hotel in los angeles. Please, do not give a place like this your buisness!!!!
A beautiful old hotel. While our room faced the building next door an attempt had been made to camouflage the concrete wall. Ask for a pool side room. The decor is elegant without being overdone. Room is large and comfortable with a desk. Great bedding. Across the street is a great restaurant and a Starbucks. Front desk staff are professional, but not overly friendly.
The hotel is quiet and central to food, and other stuff. If you like walking, it is great for that also. You can walk to the pharmacy, The House of Blues, food places, stores and just a short cab ride to the mall. I would recommend it to anyone in the Los Angeles area if you want a not so quiet time.
We stayed for 3 nights. The first room we were in, the a/c did not work properly. We told the front desk first thing in the morning, and they said no problem, they would move us to another room. When we returned, we had an upgrade to a suite! The suite was beautiful! It had a little kichette, 2 rooms, and a big whirlpool tub. The cont. ...
